All might have new mechanics, are partly made up but supplement the existing factions with new strategic possibilities, advantages but also disadvantages, to force into new playstyles.Īlso, I want to put here an idea for legendary hero units with escort. ![]() The Broken Axe Tribe a green skin faction stranded in Lustria, to find a worthy kingdom for their boss Grom the Paunch, and Strigois empire as a Vampire Count faction in the middle of Nehekara. In my mind were a dwarfen faction in Nagaroth, in middle of the Obsidian Peaks, (some kind of research expedition?) an empire faction stranded at the sea of serpents (here discussed). Fans of the first game get more support for their favorite classic factions (a majority of the DLC units could be used for the classic faction in ME as well), and everyone else who denies the DLC get new fancy polished enemies to crush, as well as updated WH1 faction. new players, those who only own Warhammer 2 who are not in possession of the first game might pay for the new classic faction without having to buy a whole game (they can only access the new DLC factions, and maybe play them in battle mode). In this way, CA could create much content without much effort (they do not need to think through, design and implement a new faction, rather than complement them and polish the existing ones. My idea is, to create new Legendary Lords for the classic factions (empire, dwarfs, VC, orcs) and put them into a whole new context of the New World, attended by new Units and Campaign mechanics and put them in the Eye of the vortex map as well. Also, even in Mortal Empires, where all factions are present, it seems very hard to leave the factions initial start position to settle to the new World (my first expeditions could be made around turn 200 which seems rather late and not very “challenging”. Eventhough I already like what CA already do for us, especially for the recently updated Vampire Courts, I don’t think that we will see more Legendary Lords, missing units as well as complete new made up ones (I like the road CA takes, by giving some faction new Units and Legendary lords even though they were never mentioned in lore), for the existing factions. This suggestion is intended as a request for more love for the base factions of the first game. Here I present a "Marienburg esque faction" as a new Empire faction. TL DR : make new Legendary Lords, new mechanics and new Units for the already existing factions.
